Bush Dance Programs & Pricing...

The Billy Tea Bush Band offers two programs:

Program One

The All Day Workshops and Early Evening Family Bush Dance Program – ideal for schools of more than 100 students

• Three morning mixed-grade workshops
• Afternoon bush dance
• Early evening family bush dance

The morning workshops run for one hour each. The students learn five dances including one dance unique to their group (Jumbucks/Matildas/Coolabahs). They practice all five dances at the afternoon bush dance and then perform them with family and friends during the early evening family bush dance.

Program Two

The Afternoon Workshop and Early Evening Family Bush Dance Program – ideal for schools of less than 100 students

• Afternoon mixed-grade workshop
• Early evening family bush dance

The afternoon workshop runs for approximately two hours. The students learn seven dances which they perform with family and friends during the early evening family bush dance.

Our format is interactive, encouraging families to dance with their own children in as many dances as they can. By incorporating a progressive element into the program, each family potentially shares a dance with the entire school community.

Pricing

Our fees are $10 to $15 per student Australia wide, depending on travel costs. Minimum fees apply.
Expenses can be shared between 2 or more schools where successive bookings are made.
